Publications and Newsletters

The Journal of the Direct Primary Care Society (JDPCS) is the official education and practice-area publication of the Direct Primary Care Society (DPCS). JDPCS’s goal is providing readers rapid retrieval of the highest quality information relevant to the responsible Direct Practice.
 

JDPCS is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal (launching Nov. 24) publishing contributions on all aspects of the practice area. These contributions include original articles, collective reviews, experimental investigations with clear clinical relevance, and a physician-at-work section. JDPCS is a membership benefit for all active DPCS members.
 

DPCS’s Practice Brilliance—a twice-monthly email newsletter—is the primary way DPCS members obtain timely news about direct primary care practice. Delivered on Fridays, Practice Brilliance articles offer industry news concerning medical and practice issues and practical ideas about patient service, marketing, emerging technologies, legislation, office management, innovations, community relations, and new products and services.
 

Coming in Fall 2024, All New Practice Brilliance Online will allow readers to instantly access the “member only” DPCS web area for further details on articles, resources, industry employment, and member news. Links to other online publications also provide a wider perspective on issues facing doctors involved with direct primary care. An unlimited number of your practice staff can receive the newsletter at each membership location, so members are encouraged to sign up staff. Practice Brilliance features several sections that provide industry and DPCS news, including areas where members can submit information: 

PRACTICE BRILLIANCE ARTICLES
Story ideas are welcome and may be developed into articles at the discretion of the DPCS Practice Brilliance editor. Submit story ideas to the Assistant Editor.

Submit information about medical designations, staff promotions, and other practice changes, retirements, awards, and death notices to the Editor. 

PRACTICE BRILLIANCE ADVERTISING
