Citizens for Direct Care begins diligently working to support and advance direct primary care in Summer 2024. Citizens for Direct Care seeks to provide an effective framework for addressing the expansion in a way the industry has never seen. 

Today, so many communities are suffering from less and less personal care, with the majority of healthcare being delivered by institutional health systems. Most of these doctors, while well meaning, spend more time typing into a tablet or laptop than focusing on their patient. By encouraging, connecting, and advising grassroots and community organizations, an d leading edge, high level outreach advocacy campaigns,  Citizens for Direct Care plans to foster the growth of the direct primary care movement so that patient groups and communities will find dpc physicians and everyone can experience the benefits of a personal healthcare relationships today, and for a growing, sustainable future.

Across the country, they have a growing number of regional Citizens for Direct Care programs and campaigns scheduled. From helping with local outreach campaigns touting the value of direct primary care,  as well as serving as a voice for patients looking for better relationships with their physicians, our regional programs are working to make a difference in these communities for physicians and beyond.
