The Direct Primary Care Society's (DPCS’s) Advocacy Forum exists to advance the Society’s industry policy agenda through Congress, State Legislatures, Local Governments by providing information supporting the outside lobbying activities of emerging groups, grassroots efforts (DPCSVoice), and political affairs (DPCSPAC). Our policy agenda consists of a variety of issues to serve practicing doctors—including industry awareness, medical values of the patient/doctor relationship, quality and patient safety, patient advocacy, practice area focus and research funding, scope of practice, health information technology, and more.
The DPCS Grassroots Network allows physicians to take action and engage with their elected officials. Members of the Network align to support the industry.
Be a Part of the Grassroots - Legislative Action Network, DPCS Legislative Action Network makes it easy to become an advocate for your practice and the broad value of direct primary care. Lend your voice to the policy discussion with the DPCS Legislative Action Network.
BECOME A PRIME DOCTOR – JOIN THE CHAMPION PROJECT
Prime Doctors focus on developing close, personal relationships with elected officials at the local, state and federal levels. If you already have this type of relationship with your representatives, becoming a Prime Doctor is easy. If not, the DPCS has tools and resources to help you raise your visibility, benefiting you, your practice, and the impact/success of direct primary care.
ATTEND DPCS LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY DIALOG
DPCS brings industry leaders together in Washington, D.C. each year to promote, advocate for, and directly educate on direct primary care before Congress and the Administration. The Dialog provides a forum for DPCS members to speak with one voice about the topics that really matter to direct primary care practitioners, including patient access, quality of patient care, research, and other issues.
