About Direct Primary Care Society

The Direct Primary Care Society (DPCS) fills a void that has has existed from its beginning. The Founders recognized there was no professional society solely representing direct primary care physicians, and realized that while several organizations support direct primary care, a national community outreach/education, legislative, and advocacy forum specifically for the advancement of DPC physicians did not exist. DPCS was formed to fill that void with a national organization providing a forum and voice for the physician community on the ever-and-quickly-evolving national landscape—while also providing state and local patient expansion value. By establishing a national presence in Washington D.C., DPCS will educate and guide national policy from an informed medical standpoint.
 

DPCS provides a forum to foster professional relationships among physicians to advance direct primary care through community outreach, market expansion, education, research, advocacy, and excellence in patient care.
